What Types of Tree Survey Are Available in Ramsey?
Ramsey property owners choose from three survey types: Tree Condition Reports for general risk assessment, Mortgage Tree Reports for lender requirements, and BS5837 surveys for planning applications.
Tree Condition Reports (TCR)
A Tree Condition Report assesses the health, structure and stability of individual trees on a property. Homeowners, landlords and insurers request one to identify hazards and set out management recommendations.
Mortgage Tree Reports (MTR)
A Mortgage Tree Report is required when a lender's valuer identifies trees close enough to a property to affect the mortgage offer. The report satisfies the tree-related conditions set by major UK lenders.
BS5837 Tree Surveys
A BS5837 survey categorises every tree on site by quality and life expectancy, sets root protection areas and produces a tree constraints plan. Huntingdonshire Council requires this survey for planning applications affecting trees.
